My name is John and I am a specialist in lung diseases and sleep disorders.
I first completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne in 2010, then subsequently graduated from medical school with a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne in 2014.
I completed my Advanced Training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine through Monash Health and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, obtaining my Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physician in 2022.
I am active in medical research and currently undertaking a PhD through Monash University in the area of severe asthma.
I have special interests in asthma, COPD, sleep disorders and investigation of lung lesions.
In addition to working at Lung and Sleep in Bentleigh, I work at Monash Health where I see patients in my public clinic at Monash Medical Centre.
If your care requires additional services offered through the public system, I can arrange this for you.
I am passionate about educating my patients about their lung and sleep conditions so they feel empowered and confident in managing their own health.
Outside of work, I am an avid basketball fan and spend most of my spare time going on adventures with my wife and twin boys.
