Inhaling a foreign body can look like lung cancer on CT scan of the chest. This may be some food, a tablet or a small object. If it goes down the wrong way and gets into the lung, it can make you unwell. It is important to remove it and the best way is with rigid bronchoscopy. This case shows a CT scan of a lady who was thought to have lung cancer. Thankfully, for her it was not a cancer, it was a foreign body which could be removed.
