Leah Jennings

Respiratory Physiotherapist
BPhysio MPhysio (Cardiorespiratory)

Hello, my name is Leah and I am a respiratory physiotherapist and the co-founder of Lung and Sleep. I have a passion for assisting people with lung disease to optimise their health and respiratory function. My role within this inspiring practice is both as a respiratory physiotherapist and practice manager. I want to ensure that each member of our team enjoys their work and reaches their potential as this leads to ensuring our patients can achieve their optimum health outcomes. I live by the motto “be kind and live well”.

I graduated from a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at  LaTrobe University in 2000 and very quickly found a passion for lung health, working with adult and paediatric patients at Monash Health in various speciality areas, including ICU, respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis. Today, nearly 20 years on, I continue to find absolute happiness in helping people of all ages to optimise their lung health and overall wellbeing.

In 2008, I completed a masters of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy at Melbourne University and today I find great enjoyment in continuing my education in a broad range of areas, including breathing pattern disorders. I am grateful to have this opportunity to help others reach their full health potential.

My balance in life comes from enjoying great moments with my husband and 2 children, Sullivan and Flynn. We are a dynamite team of outdoor enthusiasts, from walking and running, too water and snow skiing. Life is full with a great team around me and a passion for helping others.
