Linear EBUS is a bronchoscopy technique which allows the safe biopsy of thoracic lymph nodes and other thoracic structures. No longer is mediastinoscopy required to biopsy lymph nodes in the chest.  This video demonstrates how linear EBUS is performed by using a real case study. I also explain how the linear EBUS scope can be used in the oesophagus for endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and biopsy of lung lesions through the oesophagus.
